“Blacksite: The Musical!” tells an important story inspired by real events: protestors came together to occupy a lot and build a community directly across the street from a secret interrogation facility run by the police department. The "blacksite" committed numerous illegal and horrific injustices and inspired a social justice/abolitionist movement that still exists today.
